Suick Thriller

When it comes to catching big Muskies, never underestimate the power of a quality jerk bait such as a Suick Thriller! Most times these baits are only used when the Muskies are in a neutral or negative mode. I find that using a jerk bait even when the Muskies are "hot" you can bring out the "big mama's".

Larger Muskies often won't expend the amount of energy required to feed unless it is a sizeable meal. Therefore, throwing a larger profiled bait, such as the Suick Thriller, you can attract larger fish. So far this year, my largest Muskie has been caught on a Suick.

Jerk baits create a large profile in the water. With a good combination of color, and presentation you can mimic almost perfectly a dying bait fish. Therefore creating an opportunity for an easy meal for the Muskie that is patiently waiting.

You always hear the "old timers" say, "big baits, equals big fish". So next time you are out, slow down and throw a Suick! I never leave the dock without at least one. Usually having a few in my box.
