Who are Scott & Tracy Snowman? Let me tell you! They are kind, giving, and the most selfless people you will ever meet!
I met the Snowman’s through Tracy’s late brother Ryan, my best friend, my brother. Little did I know that like Ryan, Scott & Tracy were amazing people. The wonderful things they do for the community always surprises me and leaves me with the thought of there are still good people in this world.
Scott & Tracy are always busy with some sort of project. They have a fiery passion in all that they do, and nothing is sacrificed in the way of professionalism, quality or any other attribute one could think of.
In addition to being full time teachers at Spoon River College, they own and operate Snowman Studios Gallery, in historic downtown Canton. In 2015 the Snowman’s purchased two reindeer, Klaus & Nutmeg. These majestic creatures are part of the Snowman Reindeer Farm, in rural Canton. A seasonal operation, at minimal cost for the enjoyment of seeing, petting, and interacting with reindeer, a favorite among children and myself, a child at heart.

In all of my life I have never met anyone as passionate and selfless as the Snowman’s! They do all of this not for fame or fortune, rather for the love of the community and their passion for art.
So if you fancy a trip, head to Canton Illinois and stop by the gallery or if it is the season, stop by the Reindeer Farm and see Klaus and Nutmeg. They love attention!
